2005 Season

STU'S 2005 SEASON

With Stu competing in the 2005 KRC Endurance championship with Team Epona aboard their Honda CBR600RR machine, he looked forward to testing the bike during March in preparation for the first round of the series at Snetterton in April. With an exciting prospect of the 1st 24hour race in the country in June this looked like being an exciting change of scenery for Stu and the team.

The Dates and venues for the series are:- 3rd April - Snetterton 6 hours
The Dates and venues for the series are:- 21st May - Brands Hatch 6 hours
The Dates and venues for the series are:- 25th/26th June - Snetterton 8 hours (downgraded from 24hrs)
The Dates and venues for the series are:- 31st July - Pembrey 6 hours
The Dates and venues for the series are:- 1st October - Donington 6 hours

Stu also made a brief return to club racing stepping in for Mark Jordan aboard his KR1 250 at Snetterton in July. Making a quick transition back to the ways of the 'stroker' after competing a similar bike at the very beginning of SP Racing's history Stu managed to scoop a trophy for his efforts and thoroughly enjoyed his 'blast from the past'.

Phil also made his endurance debut the following weekend at Pembrey riding for the sister team to Stu's Epona Racing, Epona 2.

Brien moved to New Zealand for career reasons in 2005 but began to taste the life of 'racing abroad' competing in the New Zealand National Formula 3 Championship
